18-year-old Aravelly Avanish, who is now representing India in the U19 World Cup in blue, will soon be playing for the Chennai Super Kings in the 17th Indian Premier League (IPL), under the guidance of former Indian captain MS Dhoni.
Aravelly Avanish, who is playing the greatest match of his career against Australia U19 in the U19 World Cup final, is obsessed with the idea of playing in the IPL with the Chennai Super Kings. It is noteworthy that Aravelly Avanish has not yet made his debut for the five-time champion Chennai Super Kings, having signed him for a starting salary of INR 20 lakh at the IPL auction.
Regarding the same, the 18-year-old recently expressed his opinion, saying that he was shocked to learn that the five-time champion Chennai Super Kings had selected him to play for them.
“I was in disbelief that CSK had chosen me. Realizing that took some time. That day, Aravelly Avanish was cited by SportStar as stating, “I was at home and our phone started ringing nonstop. “For me, it was truly a dream come true moment.”
I want to bring pride to the CSK family and Dhoni, sir. Aravelly Avanish
Avanish further mentioned that his only goal is to make MS Dhoni and the CSK family proud following the U19 World Cup final. Although he acknowledged that he is not currently thinking about the IPL, every cricket player hopes to play for CSK and under Dhoni.
“I want to bring pride to the CSK family and Dhoni, sir. I’m not thinking about the IPL right now. Every cricket player’s goal is to play for CSK and for Dhoni sir; I will give it some thought after the final, Avanish remarked.
“I want to learn from him about how to think under pressure. For example, he uses his head to win matches when the team is under duress and not playing well. His final inning in the 2011 World Cup. He has so much to teach us,” he continued.
The young player, who is preparing to play Australia in the U19 World Cup final, believes that the Indian squad came into the competition with the intention of winning. They have carried out their plans well, and they intend to do the same.
“We came here to win the World Cup, and we’ve done a good job so far with our planning. We are playing together, and perhaps we will stay that way too. Expectational pressure does not concern any of us as we prepare for the finals. I totally switch off once I return to the hotel, even if I leave the world behind. To refresh and reenergize ourselves, we discuss other topics,” Aravelly Vanish remarked.
