Mumbai, July 12, 2023: Star Sports, the nation’s top sports network, just secured the exclusive television rights to the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023. With this historic arrangement, Star Sports is able to showcase up-and-coming talent and advance cricket, making it the first time the tournament will be broadcast in its whole.
The ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023, which will be the fifth iteration of the competition, will take place in Sri Lanka from July 13–23, 2023. On the Star Sports Network, fans in India can catch every second of the action LIVE.
The top three teams from the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup—Nepal, UAE, and Oman—as well as the ‘A’ sides of the five full members of the Asian Cricket Council—India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan—will participate in the competition.
Through its thorough coverage of the competition, Star Sports will give viewers a front-row seat to see future Indian cricketing superstars like Yash Dhull (C), Abhishek Sharma (VC), Sai Sudarshan, and Riyan Parag among others come into their own. India A will face UAE A to open the competition on July 14 before taking on Nepal A the following day, July 17. On July 19, 2023, India A and Pakistan A’s final group-stage encounter will mark the beginning of the greatest rivalry.
