The current Australian cricket squad, which is taking against India in the present Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 2023, has received some special advise from former Australia batsman Adam Gilchrist. India has already seized a 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series and has successfully defended its title. They have improved their prospects of qualifying for the Final of the ongoing World Test Championship thanks to their dominant play in the first two games.
Former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist has come out in support of the “kangaroos” and urged them to leave the past in the past and make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead. There has been ongoing discussion about the condition of the pitches being kept in such a way to favor the home team. With two games left, he claimed that Australia still has a lot to gain.
“The series is over, and they can’t win it because India has outplayed them up until this point, but they can still salvage a lot from it, which is the challenge. Australia has faced a very skilled Indian team here, so there’s no reason they can’t do that, and of course, both teams can compete for the world test championship. Hence, it becomes rather fascinating “NDTV Sports cited the 51-year-remark old’s as saying.
The former wicketkeeper-batter thinks that even though Australia may have won the current series, they shouldn’t let it stop them from giving everything they’ve got in the final two Test matches. On the other hand, the Australian side may benefit greatly from all of the errors they made in the first two Tests in order to avoid doing them again in the remaining matches of the series.
I can’t bowl any spinners, therefore I have no suggestions for them. Adam Gilchrist
Nathan Lyon, Todd Murphy, and Matthew Kuhnemann are Australia’s three regular spinners on the field during the third Test. Adam Gilchrist was asked whether he would like to provide any advice with the spinning three at a time when the Indian spinners are proving to be incredibly effective. He replied in jest.
Gilchrist responded with wit when asked for his thoughts, “I won’t provide any advise to the spinners since I can’t bowl spin.”
Australia dominated India on Day 1 of the third Test, bowling the visitors out for 109. In his first Test, Matthew Kuhnemann was successful in scoring a field goal. Lyon and Murphy each scalped three and one choices to limit the chase to spinners.
