In their most recent match at the T20 World Cup 2024, Team India (IND) defeated Pakistan (PAK) with incredible skill. The team did not perform well in the first half of the match, managing only 119 runs in the opening half. Unfortunately, Pakistan was unable to reach the target due to India’s outstanding bowling and lost the match by a margin of six runs.
Following the match, prominent Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted speaking with a few of the standout players from the India-Pakistan match. Mohammed Siraj, Axar Patel, and Rishabh Pant, specifically. Chahal spoke with Pant and inquired about his non-traditional strokes, which he displayed during the match against Pakistan. Speaking on the subject, Pant stated that he was motivated to perform well following his prolonged absence from competition.
“I was simply playing the game to stay upbeat and the objective was to keep it simple; not much was going through my mind. Axar Patel has practiced batting at numbers three and four during the Indian Premier League. “India-Pakistan is always a high-pressure game, and when your mate is with you, you get comfortable too,” Pant stated in a video released by the BCCI.
I am very happy: Mohammed Siraj
Additionally, during their conversation, Yuzvendra Chahal questioned Mohammed Siraj, a prominent pacer for India, about his contributions with the bat rather than his effectiveness with the ball. Because the runs made by the tailenders are so important, Siraj disclosed that he has been honing his batting technique in the IPL nets. In addition, he expressed his satisfaction with his seven runs of contribution.
