Strong criticism and dissatisfaction have been directed towards a video clip that features former Indian cricket players Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, and Gurkeerat Singh Mann. The players were seen in the video trying to mimic Vicky Kaushal, the actor, in the viral dance move from the hit song Tauba Tauba.
The video was shared by the former cricket players on their personal Instagram accounts after the India Champions defeated the Pakistan Champions by five wickets in the World Championship of Legends’ inaugural season final.
As stated in the title, Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Raina, and Gurkeerat are shown in the film limping and gripping their backs as they enter a lobby entryway, emphasising the physical toll that the matches are taking on their bodies.

Disability advocates, however, thought the film was disgusting. The film was deemed “totally disgraceful” by the National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled on X.
Totally disgraceful. No words are sufficient enough to condemn such behaviour specially when displayed by people considered national heroes. Such degrading actions only exposes their total insensitivity and boorishness. https://t.co/B6QSWLLy0a

The National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People’s Executive Director, Arman Ali, has called on the Indian cricket board’s board of control to recognise the film and strongly condemn the behaviour and acts it portrays.
“It’s abhorrent to witness the best cricket players in India make fun of handicap. reprehensible and disgusting actions by people who the general public idolises. Disgrace to them. I implore BCCI to acknowledge this right now,” Ali was cited by The Hindu.
Disability rights activist Satendra Singh said that Yuvraj Singh, who has battled cancer, ought to have exhibited more compassion because these cricket players are role models for a lot of Indians.
