August 15, 2024, New Delhi: With the highly anticipated debut of the Delhi Premier League T20 approaching, captain of the Central Delhi Kings Yash Dhull thinks the premier league would serve as a valuable platform for the players, especially considering an impending IPL super auction.
“This tournament is crucial with the domestic season just around the corner and a potential IPL Mega Auction on the horizon,” he said. “It will help senior players find their rhythm and give younger players a platform to prove themselves and possibly break into the state teams as well,” he continued.
Yash Dhull feels upbeat about Central Delhi Kings’ chances.
Yash Dhull has commanded the Delhi state team, played for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL, and captained India’s U19 squad in the past. Dhull said, “I think we have it just right,” with reference to the makeup of his team. The fact that most of us know one another and have played together before helps to explain why we have such a strong team dynamic. The crew has a solid bond, and morale is high.
In addition to concentrating on team dynamics, the youthful skipper is incredibly excited for the first season. Both the players and I are excited about the tournament. He went on, underlining the importance of the first season, “This is the first edition, and we are all extremely ready to get out and express ourselves.
Dhull underlined his duties as a captain, saying, “My role as a captain is to guide the players and help them go out and play their best cricket, but also to give 100% towards winning matches.” His dedication to the growth of each player individually as well as the team’s success highlights his leadership style.
