In the next multi-format series down under, Australia and India are all prepared to go up against each other with their ‘A’ teams. The shortest format will be played first in the series, followed by one-dayers then a final four-day Test match to conclude the series.
The thrilling women’s ‘A’ series is the first in Australia’s spectacular summer of international cricket.
Three Twenty20 matches and three One-Day matches will pit Australia A, captained by Tahlia McGrath, against India A. At Brisbane’s AB Field on Wednesday, the series gets underway.
Minnu Mani will be the captain of India, however. Shabnam Shakeel is a member of the visiting team, however her availability is contingent upon her level of fitness. Saima Thakor has been retained as a backup player, nevertheless, in case she becomes unavailable.
