The sports branch of India Cements and its staff are set to collaborate with the Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd. (CSKCL), which is a significant development for the cricket community, according to The Economic Times.
Rupa Gurunath, the full-time director of India Cements and the daughter of N. Srinivasan, is set to join the CSKCL board. Considering her level of involvement in the franchise’s administration, she is anticipated to lead future growth projects.
In addition, Gurunath is thinking about the possibility of the Chennai Super King joining the Women’s Premier League.
He is evaluating the financial viability of the idea and taking notes from the five IPL teams that have participated so far this year and the year before.
The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association has a long history of support from India Cements, who have made significant contributions with their teams and coaching staff.
With a brand valuation of $231 million, the co-most successful franchise in IPL history is purportedly the most valuable in the cash-rich league, according to a June analysis by investment firm Houlihan Lokey Inc.

CSKCL plans to launch more school-based training academies, support fan interaction programs, and increase revenue via improved sponsorship and item sales.
The article also disclosed that R. Ashwin, an Indian off-spinner, has returned to the India Cements group, where he would play a major part in CSK’s expansion strategy.
The 37-year-old cricketer played for CSK from 2008 to 2015 and was associated with India Cements until 2016. Since leaving CSK, he has been a part of four different teams.
