India A bowled Bangladesh A out for 252 on the first day of the second “unofficial Test” that was being played at Sylhet. Seamer Mukesh Kumar continued his dream show in first-class cricket by recording the highest numbers of his career with six wickets and forty dismissals.
Since making his debut in the series against New Zealand A, Mukesh Kumar has been a revelation for the India A team. Not only did he get a five-for during that series, but he also made his debut in the series.
He had helpful assistance from senior pacer Umesh Yadav, who took 2 for 55 in 16 overs and warmed up nicely for the upcoming two-Test series, which will begin on December 14 in Chattogram.
Jayant Yadav, an off-spinner, was successful in taking two wickets despite his poor performance on the penultimate day of the first “Test.”
At the end of their innings, India A were 11 without loss.
It was Umesh who made the initial breakthrough by getting rid of Shadman Islam with an inswinger (outswinger for left-handers), which was caught by Sarfaraz Khan in the slip cordon. Umesh was the one who got the first breakthrough.
Mamhmudul Hasan Joy (12), who bats right-handed and is the third hitter in the order, was bowled a full outswinger by Mukesh that was brilliantly pitched, and Kona Bharat took the catch behind the stumps.
Zakir Hasan (46), who was the star of Bangladesh A’s first encounter, and Mominukl Haque (15), who is the captain of the Test team, contributed 42 runs until Jayant trapped the veteran left-handed batsman leg before.
After that, Mukesh obtained a couple of fast breakthroughs, the first of which was an additional delivery that moved a shade and caused A team skipper Mohammed Mithun to edge to Sarfaraz in the slip cordon for his second catch.
After that, Zakir got one that was pushed with angle, and he edged it to Bharat behind the stumps. Zakir was getting close to his half-century at the time.
When the score was 84 for 5, a teenage player named Shahadat Hossain scored 80 runs, while another player named Jaker Ali scored 62 runs. Together, they kept the innings together with a 147 run stand, which was finally broken when Umesh castled the batter.
The innings was finished in 80.5 overs after Mukesh quickly and easily dispatched the batsmen batting lower in the order.
