Star opener David Warner, who hasn’t had a very memorable season at bat thus far, was benched by the DC team management.
In seven innings, the southpaw has scored 167 runs with a strike rate of 135.77 and an average of 23.85. Warner struck 52 (35) in his team’s third game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), his lone half-century of the season.
