Prior to the 2022 Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bengaluru fired Yuzvendra Chahal. Before the massive auction, they released the leg-spinner, who was maybe their greatest match-winner with the ball, in the hopes of later purchasing the leg-spinner at auction. They chose Wanindu Hasaranga instead, though, and two years later they freed him. On the other hand, the Rajasthan Royals signed the 33-year-old Chahal, who has thus far excelled for the team.
Chahal took three wickets and allowed only 11 runs to pass in his four overs during Rajasthan’s most recent game at the Wankhede Stadium against the Mumbai Indians. Shane Watson, a former cricket player, praised the spinner and talked candidly about his consistency in both the IPL and international cricket. He continued, saying that Chahal is playing at the peak of his abilities right now and that he doesn’t know why RCB let him go in the first place.
Yuzvendra Chahal has also played international cricket for a considerable amount of time in the IPL.
Chahal strikes out the best batters and does not give up many runs. The Rajasthan Royals are extremely lucky to have him because he keeps doing this year after year and game after game. Jio Cinema quoted Shane Watson.
He got Hardik Pandya’s huge wicket today at a pivotal juncture in the match. Once again, Yuzi Chahal emerged victorious. The 42-year-old continued, “I keep saying this, RCB, why the hell did you let him go?”

In the meantime, Chahal is not yet part of India’s T20I cricket plan. The cricketer may be included in India’s squad for the forthcoming T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to start on June 1, provided he continues to play effectively and win matches for Rajasthan. Ravi Bishnoi, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja are ahead of him in the rankings. With three matches played, Chahal has taken six wickets so far and is ranked second on the IPL Purple Cap list.
