South Africa defeated Australia in the semi-finals because to a spectacular 74 runs off 48 deliveries from star batswoman Anneke Bosch. With her batsmanship, she helped the squad advance to their second consecutive T20 World Cup final. The 31-year-old is aware that the task is not yet finished, though, and hopes that South Africa will play their best cricket in the final against New Zealand in order to take home the title.
Bosch said she is really pleased with every player’s performance and appreciated their commitment to each game and the tournament overall ahead of the summit clash. She wants all of the players to do well on the big day, though, because she feels that the team hasn’t yet reached its full potential.
We’ve played well throughout the World Cup, and I’m really proud of everyone on the team and how we tackled the competition. We may have stated that we haven’t yet played our greatest game and most likely still haven’t. But hopefully, we’re moving on to the finals now,” IOL cited Bosch as saying.
South Africa is an amazing country: Sophie Devine
In the championship match, Sophie Devine, the captain of New Zealand, anticipates a difficult test from South Africa. Despite her optimism about performing well against Australia on October 20 in Dubai, she praised Laura Wolvaardt, Marizanne Kapp, and Bosch for their outstanding performance against them in the semifinals. She thinks the White Ferns have nothing to lose and encourages the players to play to the best of their abilities.
“We are anxiously awaiting the final. There is nothing to lose, and it’s a wonderful place to be. We are now going to prevail in this matter. They are a fantastic side. Leading them from the front is Laura.

One of the greatest players in the world is Kapp, and Bosch played a fantastic game against Australia. However, we must prioritize ourselves and hope that the cricket gods are on our side as well,” Devine stated.
