The right-handed batter shared a video of himself operating a tractor to ploughing his Ranchi farm on Instagram. “Nice to learn something new but took way too long to accomplish the task,” the caption of the post stated.

The post sparked a social media frenzy comparable to any image or clip of the former captain. “I know to farm, anytime you need me kindly let me know,” a former Indian cricketer wrote on the post. All-arounder for the Indian squad Ravindra Jadeja added the funny comment, “No number plate.”
More than 25 lakh views, 13 lakh likes, and 37,000 comments show how popular the post is. Dhoni has 40 million Instagram followers despite having only 108 posts. The article in which he announced his departure from international cricket received the most likes.

Dhoni, who had captained CSK from the IPL’s inception in 2008, stood aside as captain at the start of the 2022 season and gave Ravindra Jadeja the reins.

The decision backfired when Jadeja was forced to withdraw from the match due to a rib ailment midway through, and after a run of losses, Dhoni was named captain once more. The 16th season of the Indian Premier Tournament (IPL), which could be Dhoni’s final game in the top T20 league, will feature his participation.
