India’s head coach for the white-ball tour to South Africa will be former cricketer VVS Laxman. It is important to note that the Men in Blue will play the Proteas in a four-match Twenty20 International series after the Test series against New Zealand concludes. The matches will be played at Durban, Gqeberha, Centurion, and Johannesburg on November 8, 10, 13, and 15, respectively.
Gautam Gambhir will be in the Australia-bound team for the forthcoming Border-Gavaskar series 2024–25, which begins in Perth on November 22.
VVS Laxman will coach India in this match. A BCCI official confirmed Laxman’s news in a report.
The South African tour was initially not planned to take place between the Australian tour and the New Zealand Test series. However, following consultations between the CSA and BCCI, it was subsequently rescheduled.
Additionally, members of the coaching and support personnel at the NCA in Bengaluru, such as Sairaj Bahutule, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, and Subhadeep Ghosh, will be included in Laxman’s coaching contingent for the South Africa team.
