Prominent Indian batsman KL Rahul and his spouse Athiya Shetty recently announced on social media that they were organising a “Cricket for Charity” auction to benefit the Vipla Foundation’s charitable work of providing high-quality education to underprivileged youngsters.
Several well-known figures in the cricket world put their memorabilia up for bid during the Friday, August 23 auction. His wife had lately seen a video he had published in which he introduced the charity.
Rahul asked all of his supporters to spread the word about the charity and the auction, highlighting how important the foundation is to him personally because his grandmother founded it.

The jersey of well-known Indian batter Virat Kohli was one of the auction’s attractions.
The jersey brought in an incredible 40 lakh Indian rupees. Moreover, according to accounts, the entire auction turned out to be a great success. At the auction, 1.93 crores were raised in total.
In addition to his jersey, Kohli’s batting gloves, which sold for INR 28 lakhs, proved to be a big attraction. Another highly sought-after item, Rohit Sharma’s bat sold for 24 lakhs.
