India easily defeats Bangladesh on the coast.
In relation to the game, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl, however their move backfired. India scored 196 runs and had little difficulty against the Bangladeshi bowling squad. After starting off strong, Rohit Sharma struck 23 off just 11 balls. As he blasted 37 runs off of 28 balls, including one four and three sixes, Virat Kohli appeared effortless.
In the next three balls, Tanzim Hasan Sakib removed both Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. Then, as the two Indian batsmen targeted the opposition bowlers, Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya collaborated to score 53 runs for the fifth wicket.After 27 balls, Pandya scored 50 runs without conceding a boundary and three sixes.
Bangladesh was never in the game while chasing 197 since the Indian spinners were consistently taking wickets. The greatest batter, Najmul Hossain Shanto, the skipper, scored 40 off 32 balls.
