Indian star Virat Kohli had a wonderful farewell before the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA. Before leaving for the big event, the 35-year-old saw US Consulate General Mike Hankey in Mumbai and exchanged greetings.
The two were having a cordial talk when the Consulate General gave Kohli a cap and a bat.

Regarding his involvement in the team’s June 1 warm-up match against Bangladesh, there were some doubts regarding Kohli’s timing of joining the Indian squad in the USA. Soon, Kohli, who arrived in New York late at night, will be a member of the team. In the just finished Indian Premier League 2024, the former captain of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) led the scoring rankings with 741 runs.
