Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian cricketer, has praised Virat Kohli for his enormous contribution to the RCB. Rayudu made these comments after RCB defeated CSK by 27 runs at home in a virtual qualifying match, with the result determining both teams’ futures.
After dropping to the bottom of the standings with only one win and seven losses from their opening eight games, RCB faced elimination for almost the whole second half of the competition. With six straight victories to go past all of their rivals in a packed points table, the team showed incredible fortitude to pull off a historic comeback.
It’s Virat’s drive, his intention, and his will to succeed. He has been interacting with everyone today, not only before the game but also throughout the breaks and in between. And even in the event that the rain caused a delay, we witnessed it. He was engaging in conversation and was visible to us. Rayudu told Star Sports, “I’m really happy for Virat, and it’s just so emotional.”
“RCB’s performance this season has me incredibly thrilled. And I sincerely hope they win this IPL because he deserves it. The entire team rode on his shoulders for a good portion of this season, particularly in the early stages of the competition, since he has consistently performed well and won the Orange Cap while playing well for RCB over the years.
Matthew Hayden, a former cricket player from Australia, talked about Kohli’s intensity on the pitch. Despite the fact that Kohli is nearly always a character on the pitch, he had more enthusiasm than usual against CSK, which eventually helped the team.
“One thing that has always amazed me about Virat is that he never has to work a day in his life. He’s essentially completed every goal in the game that he could have. I’ll also make the same observation about MS Dhoni. Thus, what they possess is a deep affection for our magnificent game. With these two players, we celebrate cricket, the Indian Premier League, and the World Cups that they participate in and have participated in. And the majority of the time, in whatever manner it may be, it is due to their brilliance,” he stated.

“We are watching Virat Kohli enjoy his second-best season to date.” With his current form, he might easily surpass his IPL 2016 performance. I believe that this wonderful man may be best described by his energy, love of the game, enthusiasm, and commitment to it all—more than anything else. He can be seen doing either on the pitch or with a bat in his hand. It’s astonishing how much he loves it. It’s just that he’s really dedicated. He also gives it to the throng. He told CSK supporters to keep quiet in a few instances.
Hayden also discussed his feelings over the RCB’s return this year.
Honestly, it’s been incredibly wonderful and inspiring to see. Since they’ve gone so far to see their club fail again, I’ll admit that I’ve always felt a little sorry for RCB fans. They are in the playoffs for the eighth time, and they have served as bridesmaids multiple times. Thus, this could be the year. They give off the impression of being a very consistent and disciplined team.
“RCB’s game tonight was virtually flawless. Seeing them parade as though it were the last was a beautiful sight. This is merely a playoff qualifier, so it’s not. However, Chinnaswamy Stadium will host its final game of the season this coming Saturday. Fans have shown up in force, and rightfully so. They constantly do. With the small pitch, music pumping and waving red flags, it’s a perfect place to play cricket. Unexpectedly, there were far more members of the red army than the yellow army today, which is a first for this year’s IPL circuit. Even though it’s been an MS Dhoni campaign, RCB has shown incredible energy.
