Renowned Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy returned with a bang for the Indian squad. In his four overs of bowling during the opening Twenty20 International match against Bangladesh, the 33-year-old Chakaravarthy gave up 31 runs but claimed three outstanding wickets.
His spell made sure that Bangladesh was bowled out for 127 runs, which in turn gave India a convincing win. Chakaravarthy received a lot of accolades after the game.
Varun Chakravarthy gave appreciation to the Indian domestic circuit for his seamless return to the Indian team during the post-match news conference.
He emphasized the caliber of the Indian domestic circuit and the players’ constant preparation for the greatest caliber of competition.
“The level of rivalry within the domestic sphere is enormous, even though individuals within the sphere don’t discuss it much. At the press conference held after the game, Chakravarthy stated, “We play every team, including Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare, and there are many, many tournaments that keep happening. The standard of Syed Mushtaq Ali and VIjay Hazare is very high.”
“People like Nitish and Mayank are ready for the IPL directly and they are ready for the internationals as well, so definitely, the credit goes to the domestic set-up,” Chakravarthy remarked. “Once you keep playing such leagues.”

Delhi will host the second Twenty20 International between India and Bangladesh.
In reference to the current series, India emerged victorious with ease. Bangladesh batted first in the match, but an outstanding effort from the Indian bowling attack restricted the side to a just 127 runs. Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya were the stars of the run chase as the hosts made a strong effort to pursue the target.

Now that they lead the series, the Men in Blue will head to Delhi for the second Twenty20 International. The second match will take place on October 9 at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium between the two teams.
