With Team India (IND), Team United States of America (USA) will play their next match in the T20 World Cup 2024. On Wednesday, June 12, both teams will square off at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York in the tournament’s 25th match.
Notably, the USA and India are both still undefeated in the competition. A few USA cricket players spoke up as the match against the Men in Blue drew near, expressing their excitement about playing India. Saurabh Netravalkar, the team’s budding pace star, spoke up and said that the USA can fight against any team in the world of cricket, not just India, provided they play their best game.
“We can compete with the best cricket players if we play our best game. Our approach is to focus on each game individually, avoid becoming overpowered by the elite players, and attempt to bowl the batters and bat against the bowlers. Netravalkar stated, “We try to keep it simple,” in a Star Sports video.

Monank Patel is so unbelievable
Monank Patel, the captain of the United States, too mentioned the incredible sense of being standing next to Indian greats like Rohit Sharma. Additionally, he said that they would not be altering the kind of cricket they have played and that the match would always be intense.
“These kinds of things happen in your dreams; it’s unbelievable to see yourself with Rohit Sharma during toss time.” USA captain Vijay Patel stated, “It will be a high-pressure game, so we don’t want to focus too much right now and we want to play the brand of cricket that we have always played.”

With four points from their first two games, India is now leading the group. The USA, on the other hand, have the same number of points but are ranked second because of their net run rate.
