Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batsman for India, was involved in a terrible vehicle accident last week and will be transferred from Dehradun to Mumbai so that he can continue receiving medical care.

Rishabh Pant sustained injuries on his right wrist, ankle, toe, and back, as well as two cuts on his right forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, and two cuts on his right forehead.

At this time, he is being monitored at the Intensive Care Unit of the Max Hospital in Dehradun. On the other hand, the Director of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), Shyam Sharma, has disclosed that Pant will be sent to Mumbai later on Wednesday in order to receive additional medical care.

“I have communicated with the individual who is his mother. We will transport him to Mumbai so that he can receive additional treatment for the tear in his ligament “Sharma explained it to the ANI news agency.

Pant’s vehicle ran off the road at NH-58 in the Haridwar region of Uttarakhand early in the morning after it had been involved in a collision with the divider. It then caught fire.

According to reports, the Indian player was able to flee the scene by shattering the glass of his automobile, although he sustained some severe injuries despite his success.

According to the information that has been made available to NDTV, Rishabh Pant has not yet resumed walking in a normal manner. The medical staff provided by the BCCI have decided to transport Pant to Mumbai.

The results of the scans performed on Pant’s spine and brain after the first treatment are good news, as they indicate that neither organ is damaged in any way. However, scans on the two potential ruptures in the ligaments have not yet been performed.

Due to the pain and swelling in the wicket-knee keeper’s and foot, a few scans on those areas had to be delayed. The board has not yet determined whether or not he will require surgery or rehabilitation.

It is also important to point out that Pant previously had plastic surgery on December 30 to heal the laceration and abrasion wounds that he sustained in the attack.

Additionally, the BCCI had published a statement the previous week, which read as follows: “Pant has two cuts on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, as well as injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe, and he has abrasions all over his back.

According to a statement that was distributed to the media by the BCCI, Rishabh’s health is currently stable, and he has been moved to Max Hospital in Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to determine the extent of his injuries and to determine the next steps in his treatment.”

At the time of the collision, Pant was apparently driving alone in the vehicle and had dozed off while behind the wheel.

While he was travelling from Delhi to Roorkee in his car, he was involved in an accident when his vehicle collided with a barrier on the Narsan boundary of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal.

According to the current state of affairs, Rishabh Pant is allegedly out of danger and has already been moved from the intensive care unit to a private suite. As a result of the serious nature of the mishap and the injuries that the wicket-keeper batsman experienced, it is likely that he will be sidelined for a considerable amount of time.
