For the WBBL draft, which is set to take place on September 1, eighteen Indian cricket players have registered. Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India, Jemimah Rodrigues, Shreyanka Patil, Deepti Sharma, and numerous others are up for selection.
Among these, Deepti was included in the Women’s Hundred for London Spirit recently. She was instrumental in helping the team captained by Heather Knight win the championship. To complete the task, Deepti struck the winning six. In contrast, Jemimah is presently a player in the WCPL with the Trinbago Knight Riders. With regard to Harmanpreet, the seasoned batsman has participated in 62 WBBL games and amassed 1440 runs with a strike percentage of 117.16.

Adelaide Strikers make their debut The Smriti Mandhana
Keeping up the winners For the 2017 Women’s Big Bash League, the Adelaide Strikers have recruited Smriti Mandhana, a famous batsman from India. The 28-year-old joined with Adelaide prior to the draft after previously playing for the Sydney Thunder, Brisbane Heat, and Hobart Hurricanes. With a strike rate of 130.01, she has scored 784 runs in 38 WBBL games.
Following her arrival in Adelaide, Smriti conveyed her enthusiasm about returning to Australia for the WBBL. Along with her, she will reconnect with coach Luke Williams, who led the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to victory in the Women’s Premier League earlier this year.
