The second unofficial test between India A and Bangladesh A saw India A come out on top

On the third day of the second unofficial Test match, India A put themselves in a commanding position by scoring a massive first-innings total of 562 and then reduced Bangladesh A to 49 for two at the end of play on Thursday. This left India A in a position to win the match easily.

The visitors have a lead of 261 runs going into the last day of the match, and they will try to win by innings. At the end of the fifth-to-last day of play, Shadman Islam had scored 22 runs, while Mominul Haque had reached only 4.

Zakir Hasan, who was given a first-ever call-up for the forthcoming first Test against India, was dismissed for 12 runs, while Mahmudul Hasan Joy was also out, this time for 10 runs.

For India A, the bowlers who took the most wickets were Saurabh Kumar (1/10) and Umesh Yadav (1/16).

Earlier, when they resumed their first innings with a score of 324 for five, their skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran (157) added 13 runs to his score from the previous day, while Jayant Yadav made 83.

As the tailenders for India A gave a fine account of themselves, the team was able to move themselves to 562 for nine before claiming victory. Saurabh hammered a score of 55 off of 39 balls, and Navdeep Saini struck an unbeaten 50 off of 68 deliveries.

During his exciting knock, Saurabh smashed seven fours and two hits over the fence, while Jayant hit ten boundaries during his stay of 150 balls. Jayant also hit two knocks over the fence.

During his half-century, Saini had five fours and two sixes to show for it.

Mushfiq Hasan, a right-arm pacer, and Hasan Murad, a left-arm spinner, each took three wickets for Bangladesh A. Hasan Murad took three wickets with his left arm.

Sumon Khan, a pace bowler, took 2 wickets for 119 runs and contributed to the team’s success.

In order for Bangladesh A to win the match, they will need to bat like their lives depend on it because India A still has eight wickets to take before the end of the day’s play.
