IPL team stands for the Indian Premier League. It has been claimed that the English domestic team Yorkshire CCC has been presented with a substantial takeover offer by the Rajasthan Royals. In the event that the offer is taken up and accepted, Yorkshire would become the first county club in the United Kingdom to be controlled by an international franchise.
It is being reported that Rajasthan Royals have made a massive offer of £25 million (Rs 260 crore).
If the sale is finalised, it will give Royals full control of the club, and the member-only ownership of Yorkshire would come to an end after more than 160 years.
