For the upcoming Test series between India and Australia, which will consist of four games, the home team will need Virat Kohli to be at the height of his game.

Kohli, who along with other senior players is currently being given a break from the T20I series that is currently being played against New Zealand, began the year with two centuries in the ODI series that was played against Sri Lanka in January.

On Wednesday, Kohli uploaded a picture from his hike to his social media accounts and shared it with his followers. In the picture, Kohli is shown hiking through the forest with another individual while each of them carries a significant backpack.

Following Kohli’s post, his devoted followers immediately flocked to Twitter to respond, flooding his comment area with thoughtful and entertaining messages.

In preparation for the Border-Gavaskar series that will be played against Australia, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have been on the road.

Along with his wife Anushka, Virat was seen in Uttarakhand, where he was observed visiting a sacred location. The internet was inundated with photographs and films that the couple had taken during their trip.

Fans have made accusations on social media that the pair travelled to Rishikesh to pay their respects at the samadhi of Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj, which is located at the Swami Dayanand Ashram.

Earlier, a number of photographs that leaked online showed the two of them performing religious rites inside of an ashram located in Vrindavan.

Both Anushka and Virat celebrated the New Year in Dubai before departing for their journey to Vrindavan. It will only be a matter of a few days before Kohli makes his way back onto the cricket pitch and resumes his on-field responsibilities.
