The decision by South Africa to send a subpar team to New Zealand for the upcoming two-match Test series surprises former cricketer Aakash Chopra. Of the cricketers in the squad, most are expected to make their debuts, including captain Neil Brand, but just two, David Bedingham and Keegan Petersen, are from the Boxing Day Test squad that played against India.
