Devisha, the spouse of prominent Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav, spoke out in response to her husband’s selection as India’s T20I captain for the forthcoming three-game series against Sri Lanka. Devisha sent her sincere congratulations to the star batter on his accomplishment in an Instagram story.
Devisha talked on how Suryakumar Yadav’s announcement as India’s captain for the Twenty20 International Series against Sri Lanka caught them both off guard. She did, however, commend the 33-year-old for his years of dedication and hard work.
We could never have predicted this day would arrive when you first began playing for India! However, God is great, and everyone eventually reaps the benefits of their diligence and hard work. I’m really proud of you and your progress, but your legacy has only just begun. Lots of work ahead of us,” she wrote on her story.

In addition, Suryakumar Yadav uploaded a photo of himself on Instagram. The 33-year-old expressed his gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support over the years and said that he was thankful for everything that had come his way.

“I sincerely appreciate all of your love, support, and well wishes. The past few weeks have been nothing less than a dream, for which I am really thankful,” Suryakumar Yadav stated on Instagram.
“I will never be able to adequately express the most unique sensation I have when I play for my nation. There is a great deal of responsibility, excitement, and enthusiasm associated with this new role. I’m hoping to continue getting your blessings and support. God is excellent; all fame goes to Him,” he continued.

Notably, a three-game T20I series and a three-game ODI series between Team India and Sri Lanka are scheduled to start on July 27. In addition, the Men in Blue will be captained by seasoned batsman Rohit Sharma during the ODI series.
