Following defeats in the opening two Test matches of the series, Pakistan is now trailing Australia in the Test series. Despite the visitors completely dominating the first two games of the series, the Australians, under the leadership of Pat Cummins, won both of them. As the third and final Test approaches, veteran Pakistani cricketer Salman Butt voiced his opinion, stating that Pakistan ought to think about benching opener Imam-ul-Haq because the batsman lacks strokes.
Butt also said that Saim Ayub might take Imam’s place for the third Test and that Imam just plays the flick shot when it comes to scoring runs.
“For the final test, Saim Ayub may take his spot. As far as I can tell, Imam-ul-Haq is stroke-free. There are absolutely no shots that score runs. He simply plays the flick as a shot.
