When David Warner’s Delhi Capitals lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 67th game of the tournament at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the four-time winners moved on to the next round. Stephen Fleming told the press after the game against Delhi, “We are still not sure about our conditions in Chennai. Other years, we were pretty sure, but this year it’s changed a little bit.”
After beating Delhi, Chennai Super Kings will play Gujarat Titans at Chepauk in the first playoff game. Since the match is in Chennai, a lot of people are likely to cheer for the four-time winners. The Yellow Army’s fans have always shown up in large numbers to cheer on the team led by MS Dhoni. This has been the case all season.

Chennai finished ninth in the IPL standings in 2022, and MS Dhoni’s team has excelled in the current competition, becoming the second team to reach the playoffs.
“Every year is unique. We thought we did a few things wrong during the COVID year, but we ended up doing really well. Last year, we thought we’d have trouble, but it was just about getting work done a year early, not letting up. “I’m trying to give guys chances to find puzzle pieces that will help us get back on our feet,” Fleming said.
