On the first day of the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B, star batsman Rishabh Pant was dismissed for just seven runs. India B batted first to start the match, however they were soon overpowered by India A’s bowling attack.
Sarfaraz Khan added nine runs, while openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Easwaran scored thirty and thirteen runs, respectively. After taking a few early wickets, Rishabh Pant entered the batting order in an attempt to steady their innings, however he was also dismissed by India A’s bowling assault. The event took place in the game’s 36th over, when Pant was dismissed by Akash Deep on the over’s second delivery.
Shubman Gill, who was sprinting with his back to the ball, dived for it and well caught it.
Pant mishit the delivery as Akash Deep delivered it, lifting the ball into the air.The same video was posted to social media by BCCI Domestic, and it quickly gained widespread popularity.

The situation for India B keeps becoming worse.
In terms of the match, India B keeps losing wickets as India A’s bowling assault puts more and more pressure on them. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar were both out for ducks, while Rishabh Pant was despatched after just seven runs.

After the side had lost seven wickets for 94 runs by the 44th over of the first innings, Musheer Khan and Mukesh Kumar set out to stabilise the batting. India A will be hoping to build on their impressive opening performance to win their first game by maintaining a similar level of play throughout.
