India recovered admirably from their stunning loss to Zimbabwe in the opening Twenty20 International at the Harare Sports Club. On July 11, they won the third game after winning the second Twenty20 International. India’s youthful squad demonstrated resiliency in the third game under the direction of Shubman Gill, thanks to their captain’s half-century and Washington Sundar’s three-for.
Sundar praised Gill’s ability to keep a positive attitude both on and off the pitch and spoke extensively about his preparation and behaviour. He also mentioned Gill’s constant readiness to improve his areas of strength. With two matches remaining, India is presently leading the series 2-1.

“Honestly, Shubman Gill has been really, really good. He has his own plans and is eager to work on his strengths. It’s a real pleasure to play under him because he has also led in the IPL.
” He led effectively, and even now—especially following our first difficult game—you know, the way we’ve bounced back as a team and the way his leadership abilities have helped all of us both on and off the pitch has been incredible, Sundar told reporters.
In Zimbabwe, Gaikwad scores a burst of runs.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, aside from Gill, has also been quite effective, scoring the majority of the runs in the previous two games. He hit 49 from 28 balls in the third Twenty20 International, with a strike rate of 175 and four boundaries and three maximums. The right-handed batsman led India to an overwhelming 100-run victory in the second Twenty20 International, scoring an undefeated 77 off 47 deliveries.
