Day 2 of the Duleep Trophy Round 2 encounter between India A and India D saw a lot of action on the pitch for star Indian batter Shreyas Iyer. It’s also worth noting that earlier in his batting shift, Iyer was also out for duck.
Iyer was brought on to bowl in the second innings, and his one and only delivery of the day went viral. India’s wicket was taken by the captain of India D. Mayank Agarwal was the captain and he was batting with 56 runs.

India A continues to lead India D by 222 runs
In reference to the India A vs. D game, India A started the match batting first. Tanush Kotian scored 53 runs in 80 deliveries following Shams Mulani added 89 runs in 187 deliveries, and Riyan Parag added 37 runs as India A amassed 290 runs in the first innings.
Regarding India D, Saransh Jain and Saurabh Kumar each scored one wicket, while Vidwath Kaverappa and Arshdeep Singh shared two wickets apiece under Harshit Rana’s four wickets in the opening innings.

India D responded well, scoring 183 runs in the first innings after coming into bat. With ninety-two runs in the first innings, Devdutt Padikkal was his team’s top scorer. In addition, India A finished Day 2 with a lead of 222 runs over their opponent after scoring 115 runs in the second innings. As Day 3 draws near, they intend to set a lofty goal for their opponent to pursue.
