Rishabh Pant, an Indian wicketkeeper-battler, recently played for Purani Dilli 6 in the Delhi Premier League 2024, which is still in progress. Pant was sent back to the pavilion after only managing to score 35 runs in 32 deliveries during his slow start against South Delhi Superstarz. Four fours and one six were included in his knock, although his strike percentage was only 109.
Following the match, Shivam Sharma, Pant’s teammate, discussed how much progress Pant had made in his career on X, formerly Twitter.
He disclosed that the brilliant batsman served as his captain in the Delhi U23 team, and that Pant captained Purani Dilli 6, where Shivam was a teammate.
“Today I played in the DPL under Rishabh’s captaincy, and he played Under-23 for Delhi under my captaincy.” Shivam wrote, “I’m glad to see him progress as a cricket player and I thank God for keeping him safe, fit, and well.

The wicketkeeper-batter, who is noteworthy for never having bowled in an international match, chose to bowl the game’s last over.Superstarz took the match, needing just one run in the last over. Pant took the ball and gave up the one run that was needed for the opposition to win.
