The primary factor in Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) success thus far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season has been Sanju Samson’s leadership. The Royals have won eight of their last 10 games, which has them comfortably positioned in second place in the standings.
Samson, Rajasthan’s captain, has led the team to an incredible performance this season. He has not only rallied his supporters, but he has also made some truly amazing contributions with the bat. Samson has taken the lead, amassing 385 runs in just ten games. Shane Bond, the fast bowling coach for RR, was all praise for Samson’s leadership. The former bowler from New Zealand also gave Samson his props on being included in the Indian squad for the forthcoming T20 World Cup.
Upon joining this team for the first time, I was impressed. He’s a fun guy, and it’s been great, Samson. It appears that he has been learning how to manage his time and energy for a few years now. It’s encouraging to witness his leadership in the IPL, which is an energy-draining tournament, particularly in the backend. “He has performed exceptionally well, and I’m delighted he was included in the T20 World Cup team,” Bond stated at the press conference held prior to the game.
We are a formidable team to defeat, having only dropped two games during the tournament: Shane Bond
However, an incredible team effort has supported Sanju Samson’s talent. With Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, and Riyan Parag all scoring more than 300 runs, the Royals have a batting lineup that has produced results time and time again. In addition, few clubs can match the Royals’ depth, thanks to the explosive power hitters Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell, as well as the young prospect Dhruv Jurel.

Since we only dropped two games during the competition, we know we are a formidable opponent. “Well done, boys. They performed brilliantly the entire tournament,” Bond said.
Notably, after a 17-year absence, the competition’s first-ever winners want to reclaim the crown. They reached the 2022 season’s championship game but lost to the Gujarat Titans, finishing as runners-up.
