Sydney, Australia and Pakistan‘s third and last test of the series has been nothing short of a thriller. The two teams engaged in a see-saw struggle for the entire five days. But it was the “David Warner” factor that made this Test match unique. The seasoned opener took the field in his native country for the final time. Furthermore, by taking the field first and smashing a well-earned fifty runs to seal the win, he was able to have a storybook finish.
Subsequent to the game, Pakistani captain Shan Masood showed Warner the ultimate in sportsmanship by giving him a signed Babar Azam jersey. The entire Pakistani team autographed the shirt, which is noteworthy.
