Coming into the game and choosing to bowl first, Phoenix had a fantastic beginning to the day as they took quick wickets and left Rockets floundering at 53/6 after 54 deliveries of their innings. When Lewis Gregory, the team’s skipper, and Daniel Sams, one of the batters, arrived to the crease, the phase of the game immediately altered. Both Sams and Gregory contributed to their team’s total of 145, with Sams reaching his half-century off of 25 balls and Gregory scoring 35 runs off of 22 balls.
