After five wickets in hand, India required 100 runs from of the final 10 overs to successfully chase down 312 & take a 2-0 leads in the three-match series.

Axar Patel, an all-rounder for Team India, claimed that he used the knowledge he received from participating with in Indian Premier League (IPL) to achieve his first fifty, which helped India defeat the West Indies and win the series on Sunday.

During his batting, Patel hit 3 four and 5 sixes.
Patel’s 64-run, no-out performance off 35 balls sealed India’s stunning triumph with two balls remaining. Patel knocked Kyle Mayer right over the bowler’s head for six when he needed six off the final three balls.

“After I went out, my goal was 10 to 11 points over. Due to our IPL experience, we believed it was possible.”All we had to do was maintain our composure and intensity. I haven’t played an ODI (series) in almost five years. I would like to keep contributing in this manner for my team.

Shai Hope scored 115 in 100th ODI for the hosts, and skipper Nicholas Pooran added 74, although it was ultimately insufficient.
