Reports: Sarfaraz Khan will play the next round of the Duleep Trophy despite being chosen for Bangladesh Tests

The brilliant batsman Sarfaraz Khan has been named in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh that begins on September 19, although he will participate in the Duleep Trophy second round.

Other players have been cleared to go to the national camp in Chennai on September 12. Rather, he would participate in the Duleep Trophy’s second round starting on September 12 and quickly join the Indian squad. For the duration of the competition, Himanshu Mantri and Suyash Prabhudesai have been called up to the India B team. Renowned hitter Rinku Singh has also reported to the Bengaluru-based India B camp.

Numerous alterations in India A group

Due to their calls up for the Bangladesh series, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Akash Deep will be absent from India A for the remainder of the Duleep Trophy. To take their place, Pulkit Narang, Shams Mulani, Shaik Rasheed, Pratham Singh, and Akshay Wadkar have been called up.

The India call-ups have no effect on India C. In the meanwhile, Tushar Deshpande and Axar Patel would be missed by India D. While Deshpande is out injured for the Test series, Patel has been called up. He will be replaced by Kaverappa, while Nishant Sindhu has also been called up.
