On Friday, November 15, at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, during the ongoing fourth Twenty20 International between South Africa and India, Sanju Samson smacked a woman in the face with one of his sixes. Samson was in the middle of a thrilling knock, but the young woman ignored him at all costs, and the ball struck her in the face, causing her anguish.
Off the second ball of the tenth over, the incident occurred. Aiden Markram chose to put on part-time off-spinner Tristan Stubbs in the midst of Samson’s destruction. With a six over long-on to welcome him to a glittering half-century, Samson gave the youngster little chance against the raging wicketkeeper-batter.
Samson crouched slightly and smoked it over deep mid-wicket in the next delivery. Someone in the crowd handed the woman some ice to apply after the ball struck her in the full. She was observed crying when the ball panned to her again later in the over.

Five T20I games later, Sanju Samson blasts his third century.
Samson entered the tour having just scored his first T20I century in Hyderabad against Bangladesh. In the opening Twenty20 International against the Proteas in Durban earlier this month, the 30-year-old backed it up with a century. But because some supporters began to doubt his consistency, the Pulluvila native was unable to make an impression in the second and third Twenty20 Internationals.
Nevertheless, in front of a crowded Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, he returned among the runs in the crucial fourth Twenty20 International.
