Samit Dravid, a middle-order batsman and agile medium-pacer, was a vital component of the Karnataka Under-19 side that won the Cooch Behar Trophy in 2023–24.

In a three-day game against the visiting Lancashire team in Alur, he also played for the KSCA XI. Karun Nair, who has been kept as the team’s captain, will be in charge of Samit at the Warriors.
