Within the cricket community, Sakshi Singh and MS Dhoni have been one of the most sought-after couples. Following a two-year romance, the pair got married on July 4, 2010, and on July 5, they celebrated their 15th anniversary with a cake-cutting ceremony. The pair first connected at the Taj Bengal in Kolkata back in 2007, and their relationship quickly developed into a romantic one prior to being married.
Sakshi disclosed that Dhoni’s decision to retire from Test cricket in 2014 was prompted by his desire to spend more time with his family. In the end, the Indian icon announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020 and gave up captaincy across all formats in 2017. On their special day, Sakshi shared old photos of the pair on her Instagram account, where they were seen cutting a cake. Sakshi is involved in commercial endeavours as well; she manages the production company Dhoni Entertainment and actively participates in start-up investments.

They are the family’s main source of support: Dhoni
Dhoni has made no secret of the impact his mother and wife had on his life. He called them the unwavering pillar of support, even if he acknowledged that they are difficult to cope with. It is noteworthy that in 2015, Sakshi gave birth to their first child, Ziva, without the former captain of India being present. Captain Cool had made a joke about how he puts his country’s needs ahead of anything else while India was in Australia for the 2015 World Cup.
“They are the family’s main source of support. They are the ones in charge of the family, whether it’s my wife or my mother. She must use her budget for the entire thirty days, or however long it is. They’re quite good at it. They, in my opinion, are the ones who provide our family comfort because you can always count on them. At an occasion, Dhoni stated, “You can ask them anything.”
