India’s ODI series versus South Africa is about to begin. The Men in Blue will be hoping for some results from the ODI series after losing the T20I series. India will be hoping for a strong showing against the Proteas in their first match, which is set for Sunday, December 17 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The announcement that 22-year-old Sai Sudharsan will be making his ODI debut for Team India was one of the major highlights leading up to the match. Up to now, the young player has participated in 12 first-class and 25 List A matches, amassing 843 runs in first-class cricket and 1269 runs in List A.
Additionally, he played eight games and scored 362 runs, including three half-centuries, for the Gujarat Titans in the 16th Indian Premier League (IPL).
