He had scans, and the BCCI Medical Team decided not to let him continue the tour after consulting with an expert. In order to continue managing his injuries, he will report to the NCA. The Men’s Selection Committee has selected Abhimanyu Easwaran to take his place.
A hamstring injury will prevent fast bowler Harshit Rana from competing in the four-day match against South Africa A at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, which is scheduled to begin on December 26. The Selection Committee has removed Mr. Kuldeep Yadav from the India A squad and added Mr. Rajat Patidar, Mr. Sarfaraz Khan, Avesh Khan, and Mr. Rinku Singh.

After winning the ODI series in South Africa, India will be keen to establish themselves as the overwhelming team in the two-match Test series. More youthful players were named to the Indian T20I and ODI squads, while the majority of the experienced players will be back for the red-ball assignment.
