The acknowledgement I receive from CEAT motivates me to keep giving my all and making a positive impact on the game.
A remarkable group of cricket players and sports leaders who demonstrated extraordinary talent and leadership throughout the year were recognised at the 26th edition of the awards. Tim Southee was named the Men’s T20I Bowler of the Year, and Phil Salt was acclaimed as the Men’s T20I Batter of the Year.
Shreyas Iyer won the IPL Award for Outstanding Leadership in honour of his tactical prowess.Because to his steady efforts in the domestic circuit, Sai Kishore was named the Domestic Cricketer of the Year.
Men’s ODI Bowler of the Year went to Mohammad Shami, while Men’s ODI Batter of the Year went to Virat Kohli. Harmanpreet Kaur was given the Award for Most Matches as a Captain in Women’s T20I History, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Yashashvi Jaiswal were recognised as the Men’s Test Bowler and Batter of the Year, respectively.
Regarding the women, Smriti Mandhana was crowned Women’s Indian Batter of the Year, while Deepti Sharma was named Women’s Indian Bowler of the Year. Shafali Verma was awarded the Award for the Fastest Double Century in the Women’s Test, while Jay Shah received the Award for Excellence in Sports Administration in recognition of his noteworthy contributions to the sport. Rahul Dravid received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to cricket.
