Rohit Sharma’s reaction to Arshdeep Singh’s seater-dropping goes viral

During the 18th over of the Asia Cup, Arshdeep Singh failed to make a simple catch on Asif Ali, which resulted in a significant shift in the game’s overall momentum.

The match between India and Pakistan that took place on Sunday in the context of the Super 4 Asia Cup will be regarded as an exciting contest in the years to come. From Virat Kohli’s big innings of 60 runs off 44 balls to Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan’s knock of 71 runs, which eventually allowed his side to record a five-wicket win on Dubai’s ground, there were a number of impressive performances during the match.

There were a few important moments in the game, but in the end, the team commanded by Babar Azam was the one who had the final laugh. India did not succeed in winning the local contests that occurred within the larger competition. One such instance occurred in the 18th over when India pacer Arshdeep Singh failed to make a very simple catch on Asif Ali. This resulted in a significant shift in the game’s overall momentum.

Khushdil Shah and Asif Ali were at the crease when Ravi Bishnoi delivered the 18th over of Pakistan’s innings. At that point, Pakistan needed 34 runs to win. On the third delivery, Asif played a sweep stroke, and the ball sailed into the air, making it appear as though Arshdeep would have an easy time catching it. As a result of the ball going through his hands, however, Asif Ali was able to avoid injury and live through the incident.

When Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, saw this, he lost all ability to control his emotions, and he became furious. The heated response that Rohit gave has now gone viral on the social media, which has resulted in a variety of responses from the general public.

Earlier, veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh defended Arshdeep by stating that no one drops catches on purpose and that the young seamer should not be chastised for doing so. Harbhajan Singh was Arshdeep’s supporter.

“Put an end to the teasing of the young @arshdeepsinghh. There was no one who dropped the catch on purpose, and we are really proud of our boys. It’s a shame that some people are trying to bring down our own players by making negative comments about Arsh and the team on this forum when Pakistan played so much better. Gold is found in arsh “Harbhajan tweeted.

In reference to the match that took place between India and Pakistan, India was the team that was given the opportunity to bat first, and after 20 overs, they scored 181 runs. Virat Kohli was the player with the highest score, a hit of 60 off of 44 balls.
