After being trapped in Barbados for several days due to Hurricane Beryl, the Indian cricket team that won the T20 World Cup has finally returned home. On July 4, a specially-scheduled charter aeroplane brought the Men in Blue to a touchdown in Delhi.
The Indian cricket players arrived in the Capital to jubilant fans who welcomed them at the airport. They and their families were given tickets to the ITC Maurya hotel in New Delhi via buses. As the players entered the hotel after arriving, they were met by a gathering of individuals who were wildly dancing to the sounds of the dhol. Even though the players had just returned from a lengthy trip from the Caribbean, they nevertheless showed off their dancing skills.
Grinning broadly and showcasing his bhangra skills, Captain Rohit Sharma led the way. Social media users are loving the 37-year-old’s jig in the video, which shows him inspiring the team to win their second T20 World Cup and first in 17 years.

The sound of the dhol rhythms made Suryakumar Yadav want to dance. It was Yadav who had taken the crucial catch of the dangerous David Miller in the final over of the India vs. South Africa match. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who served as the team’s backup opener during the campaign, joined him.
