Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian squad, is working really hard to get ready for the impending Test series against Bangladesh. The social media photographs of him that have been doing the rounds recently reveal that he has been working out hard in the gym.
Alongside former Indian cricketer Dhawal Kulkarni and his long-time friend and assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, Sharma was seen working out. Considering India’s busy cricket schedule, it becomes evident how intense the hitman’s training schedule is. Sharma is currently concentrating on the impending Test matches after leading the side to victory in the T20 World Cup earlier this year and taking part in a bilateral series against Sri Lanka.
In particular, his collaboration with Nayar has greatly influenced the way he approaches training. Their friendship began in 2011 when Nayar supported Sharma during his time left out of the ODI World Cup team. Since then, the two have been spotted working out together frequently, with Nayar being crucial to Sharma’s mental and physical readiness.
