Following Amit Mishra’s disclosures in a recent podcast with online celebrity Shubhankar Mishra, a significant issue has been sparked. Mishra was also very open about his interactions with the great Indian batsman Virat Kohli.
However, former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa has denied these claims. Interestingly, Uthappa has played with both Mishra and Kohli, for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and India A in local cricket, respectively.
Uthappa, who was part of the 2009 and 2010 RCB team, went into further detail about what he saw as the remarkable metamorphosis of Kohli from an aggressive Delhiite to an extremely well-mannered person. According to him, Kohli is currently reaping the rewards of his labours from fifteen years ago.
“I have witnessed Virat transform from a bold young man from Delhi to a mature human being. As you are aware, there has been a significant amount of evolution. According to Uthappa on cricket.com/tv, “He’s essentially reaping what he had sown 15 years ago today.”

Uthappa went on to emphasise that one of the main qualities he respected most about Kohli was his unwavering will and self-assurance. He said that although it seemed unreal that Kohli, who is only 19 years old, would speak so freely, it was also comforting to see how he has changed his perspective on certain issues over time.

“Cheeku’s self-confidence has always been one of the qualities that have struck me as unique. You’ll be humiliated and wonder, “What is this dude talking about?” when you hear 19-year-old Virat Kohli talk about himself or his confidence in himself. However, after ten years, you’ll think, “Alright, that makes sense now,” Uthappa continued.
