Riyan Parag of the Rajasthan Royals can be considered a product of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Parag has finally regained his form for the team in the 17th edition of the IPL after a string of disappointing seasons for RR.
With 181 runs in three games, Parag is presently equal with seasoned hitter Virat Kohli for most runs scored in the IPL, although he strikes out at a higher rate. The 14th game of the tournament took place at Wankhede Stadium, where the youthful player once again showed off his class against the Mumbai Indians.
Riyan Parag led his team to victory by scoring 54 runs in 39 deliveries as RR attempted to chase down a total of 126 runs, once again captivating the crowd with his heroics.
Parag calmly replied that he has simplified everything and isn’t attempting to overcomplicate things anymore when asked what he has changed about his playstyle.

Nothing, really; instead of attempting to do a lot of things, I have actually simplified everything. I used to overthink things and try different things completely when I wasn’t getting runs, but it never worked out. At the post-match award ceremony, Riyan Parag stated, “This year, the goal was to keep it simple—watch the ball and hit the ball.”
It was pretty simple to calculate everything: Riyan Parag
Additionally, Riyan Parag considered how, following the early wickets of the top order, this was the role he was accustomed to playing in domestic cricket.
As I’ve already stated, this is the identical scenario I bat in when I play domestic cricket. I said to myself, “Okay, this is what I do,” when Jos [Buttler] bhai and Ash [R Ashwin] bhai left the game, respectively. Playing domestic cricket is what I have been doing for the past six months. Thus, everything was rather easy to calculate,” Parag remarked.
