Rishabh Pant, an Indian cricket player, was on his way from Delhi to Uttarakhand when the car he was driving collided with a divider and caught fire. Pant suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
While Rishabh Pant was at the wheel of his Mercedes, the vehicle was involved in a collision close to Roorkee in the state of Uttarakhand. Ashok Kumar, the Director General of Police for the state of Uttarakhand, has stated unequivocally that the cricketer was the only person in the car at the time of the accident and that he shattered the windscreen in order to flee the burning vehicle once it began fire.
As a direct consequence of the incident, he suffered wounds to his head in addition to those on his knee and shin. There is a possibility that he has fractured his leg, and he is receiving treatment at the Max Hospital in Dehradun at the moment.
“At approximately 5:30 in the morning, the car driven by Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was involved in an accident. The occurrence was observed at Mohammedpur Jat, which is located close to Roorkee.
Rishabh Pant has stated that he fell asleep while driving, which is what caused the accident that resulted in the car crashing into the divider and catching fire.
He was taken to the hospital in Roorkee, and after some time there, he was transferred to the hospital in Dehradun “DGP Ashok Kumar made this statement to the media.
According to Rishabh Pant’s doctor at Max Hospital, Ashish Yagnik, Rishabh Pant has suffered only minor injuries and is currently getting treatment for an injury around his waist. He is safe and conscious now that the threat has passed.
Rishabh Pant was a member of the Indian team that defeated Bangladesh in a two-game test series earlier this month, winning both matches 2-0. He had previously knocked a 46 and a 93, which were very impressive.
He was due to join the National Cricket Academy for a strength and conditioning programme in advance of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy match against Australia in February, but he was just removed off the Twenty20 International lineup that was named for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.
Pant had spent Christmas in Dubai with former India captain MS Dhoni and his family, and Dhoni’s wife Sakshi posted images of the celebration on social media.
Pant has been India’s main wicket-keeper across all formats since MS Dhoni’s departure, and he has been one of India’s best performers with the bat in Test cricket over the past two years. Dhoni was India’s most successful batsman during his time as India’s captain.
He had been a significant contributor to India’s success in claiming their second consecutive Test series victory in Australia in 2020/21.
The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, has stated that the state of Uttarakhand will be responsible for covering the total cost of Rishabh Pant’s medical care. He has also stated that the facility to transport Pant via air ambulance will be made available in the event that it is necessary.
